How did you join Ålö? In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position?
I joined Ålö at the beginning of January 2016. Today I’m responsible for the Service Department at Ålö France which is a job with great variety. I manage technical issues with dealers, cooperate with the Service Department in Sweden to find technical solutions and product reliability improvement. I’m also involved in product development together with R&D and sales people within Ålö France and Ålö AB.

What type of background is needed for your job?
You need to have a good technical knowledge about tractors, loaders, hydraulics and electricity/electronics. It is also important to have the ability to establish good relations with dealer mechanics in order to help them find solutions and train them to become more autonomous. You also need to have capacity to analyze and summarize technical issues to give the right information to R&D. Also, a good knowledge of agriculture market and farmer culture is also important. We have to understand in what way our products needs to be improved, with the goal to ensure end customer satisfaction.

What motivates you at work?
What motivates me the most is the possibility to be involved in several different tasks and projects, and also to have contact with a lot of people. There’s no walls between different departments, which I think is very positive for Ålö’s continued growth and success.
