How did you join Alo? In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position? I was moving home to Umeå in 2013, after having spent two years abroad and six years in Stockholm. I was looking for an employer that could offer a fun and challenging job, and I also wanted to continue to work for a big company. Ålö was the perfect match. In the position as Head of Controlling I am responsible for processes within business analysis, budget and forecasts, reporting and operational efficiency projects. I have personnel responsibility over four business controllers, and work closely together with the Accounting Department here at Central Finance. I also have a daily contact with many of our 20 colleagues within the finance department that are working at our offices around the world.
What type of background is needed for your job?
I have got a ”Master of Science in Business and Economics” and since my graduation I gained many years of work experience in the area of business control and similar tasks which I feel is a perfect foundation for my current role.

It is a global company with functions within production, product development, marketing and sales, logistics and support functions.
