Can you describe your journey within Ålö so far?
I was an intern at Ålö for a few weeks in 1988 and was subsequently offered a permanent position in the turning department at Brännland. In 1991 a line was established to manufacture complete cylinders with work rotation, and I was given the chance to be part of that group. I worked in the production group there until autumn 2016 when Ålö was recruiting process technicians for a new welding line in Brännland. I was offered one of the positions there and am now looking forward to the new challenge that both Ålö and I personally are about to embark on.
Could you in a few words describe your main tasks in your new position?
My task will be to take charge of the production of the new generation of loaders and ensure that we meet the set targets through programming and optimising the workflow. I will also be monitoring quality aspects and rectifying any irregularities.
How would you describe Ålö’s corporate culture?
From the first day I have had a familiar feeling of people ready and willing to support and care for each other. Over the years the company has grown a lot, but the sense of familiarity is still very much present.
