How did you join Ålö? In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position?
Having spent a number of years away from Umeå, I was moving back and looking for new challenges. Alo offered an interesting position in a global setting, which caught my attention. I work within the Finance Department, where I’m involved in reporting, budgeting and forecasting. In between these recurring processes, I spend time in various ad-hoc projects, often in close collaboration with other departments
What is your professional background?
I’ve got a Master in Business Administration & Economics. Before joining Alo I had spent 7-8 years in various controlling positions. I’ve always been within the Finance industry and the manufacturing industry is obviously quite different. However, once you develop a certain “controlling mindset” I believe that you can quite easily adapt to new environments.
What motivates you at work?
Alo offers a wide range of exciting positions in a global environment. The pace is high and there are constantly new challenges just around the corner. I’ve got many skilled and ambitious colleagues, who have also become good friends. We often take lunch walks by the river. The setting of our office next to the river is truly amazing!
