How did you join Ålo? 

 I have an old relationship with Ålö. I first joined as a student engineer in 1997, I then worked a few years in Brännland production. In 2015, I started as a consultant at the Global Manufacturing Engineering department and Technical Support and found my home on Technical Support.

In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position?

I am responsible for technical support, quality investigations and warranty claims for our global OEM factories and customers. Also, we do customer product training and distribute user feedback to the company. We are a key department for initiating product improvements. Working on Technical Support means that you must interact with all parts and functions of the company, and that makes you get to know a lot of people!

What type of background and personality is needed for this job?

I would say that knowledge in hydraulics, mechanics, electronics and experience from the agricultural branch is beneficial. I have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, writing my thesis on Ålö Brännland pretreatment improvements. Because of the variety in work duties, you must be structured and flexible, have a service-minded customer approach and be ready to go out of your zone of expertise to solve problems.

What motivates you at work?

You learn new things about Ålö every day: our systems, products, projects and our amazing people! One of the best parts of my job is the daily communication with people from different parts of the company and the world. I also get the chance to travel worldwide meeting the employees of our production units and customers plants. Yet family like, Ålö is a global world-leading cutting-edge loader company with amazing products, that I am proud to work for!
