Coordinator Assembly Line – ProductionThere are opportunities to develop here
How did you join Ålö? In a few words could you describe your main tasks in your position?
I wanted to try working within industry, I worked in a store previously and wanted to try something new. I started working here through a staffing agency and after a while I got an employment directly from Ålö. I wanted to try a different branch and see how an industry works.
I am working as a coordinator at the Assembly line with one other person, my main task is to make sure that the assembly line does not stand still. Can be anything from changing if someone has to go to the bathroom to fixing disturbances, helping if someone needs help, driving a truck and planning where people will be during the day. If something is wrong or something does not go right, us coordinators sort it out.
I started working on the assembly line and was asked to become a coordinator when we needed more people.
What type of background and personality is needed for this job?
We have many people with different backgrounds here, people from manufacturing, healthcare, hotels, restaurants, and shops for example. You may have an advantage if you have worked with tools before, it can also be good to be stress-resistant and to be able to take own initiatives.
What's the best thing about working at Ålö?
You recognize everyone in the different departments and can have dialogue and work closely with other departments. There are opportunities to develop here, if you want to learn and work for something, it is possible.
